Camping

Noelle's first camping trip went great. She slept like a champ. . . well almost. . . it was all my fault. When getting her ready for bed I dressed her for the cold night ahead. Granted it was only 6pm and still really nice outside. I am a cold natured person and was worried about her getting cold. It's easy to say she takes after her dad and loves the cold. About an hour after putting her down she woke up crying. . . I thought no no no, the whole night can't be like this. So I went to check on her. . . poor thing was beet red and sweating. Needless to say I took off her hat, unzipped her sleep sack and footy jammies and she went right back to sleep. Don't worry I bundled her back up before Brad and I went to bed so she was nice a warm for the night. Here are a few pics.

Good morning!!!

We stayed nice and toasty all night.

Can't wait for the next years daddy/daughter camp out.

Don't worry the pups got to go too. By the way if you want to take your dogs and need to keep them on a leash. . . roping them together and letting them wonder is perfect. They get to sniff, but they never get too far because they alway get caught on something.

Fun Pics of the week

Jealous Much Molly Girl?? Took Noelle's newborn sleeper off her pack-n-play and someone thought she needed to try it out.
Not so sure about this hat mom. . . I thought Sunday afternoon clothes were supposed to be comfy.
Noelle loves her "wiggle mat" So many fun toys. . . so little time between naps.

Cino De Mayo

We had a true Mexican feast last night with some friends. Our combined efforts was way better than any Mexican restraunt I have ever been to. Noelle like the fun colored table cloth that my friend had put out and was giving the biggest smiles for her daddy.

Well, Hello Belly Button

It took almost 4 weeks, but she finally decided on an innie.

Just for all you OU fans. . . don't worry she now has a flower/bow that matches so she doesn't look so much like a boy.

Quilt

I started this quilt in mid Sep with a group of girls from church. We had a great teacher/leader, Beth, who taught us all how to make a quilt. It's my first one and I love it. I actually made two of them one for Noelle and one for my cousins little baby who has yet to arrive. The fabic with the little animals I found at my Grandma Betty's house. We are not sure what grandma was going to use this fabric for, but I think it looks great in a baby quilt. I finished it right before Noelle was born. Would have had it done earlier, but moving at 9 months prego kinda takes over . . . we still are not completely settled in. . . just a few deco things to figure out.

Growin so fast.

I love that we got these pics. The first is from the day we brought her home. The second is at two weeks. . . I can't belive how much she has grown. She almost didn't fit in this outfit.

Noelle is Here!

Most of you have seen these photos, but I thought I would start out with these as our first blog about her.
